A new health & wellness campaign partnership with Eastland Mall and the Vanderburgh County Health Dept.

Welcome to ELEVATE, a partnership between Eastland Mall and the Vanderburgh County Health Dept. ELEVATE is a community awareness campaign designed to provide information and programs to help you ELEVATE your health. The campaign is also designed to raise awareness of FREE Vanderburgh County Health Dept programs designed to help you improve your health. The Vanderburgh County Health Dept will be in the mall beginning in September handing out information and chatting with customers about different health issues. In addition, customers will be able to follow ELEVATE on social media @theeastlandmall for Facebook, X and Instagram. Health and fashion go hand in hand. Feeling Better = Looking Better Check out information below about three health related programs offered by the Vanderburgh Health Department.

Diabetes Prevention Program

The Diabetes Prevention Program includes materials shared via the web or app and includes one-on-one health coaching. Body measurements will be taken every 6 weeks and lab work will be done at the beginning and end of the program. Certain qualifications apply. Living a Healthy Lifestyle

The Healthy Lifestyles program is a six-month voluntary program designed to prevent obesity and chronic disease. Program material is provided via the web or app in addition to accountability sessions with a certified Lifestyle Coach. Certain qualifications apply. A Matter of Balance Program

Matter of Balance is an evidence-based, 8-week program that helps participants reduce the fear of falling, increase activity levels, encourage small changes to reduce fall risks at home, and find ways to increase strength and balance.
