Eastland Mall's Nonprofit of the Month

Since 2014, Eastland Mall has been recognizing the amazing work that nonprofit organizations have been doing in our community. The Eastland Mall Nonprofit of the Month program is designed to provide organizations with a specific benefit - an increase in awareness. Nonprofits of the Month gain extra exposure at a time when it's crucial to their organization. Whether it's promoting an upcoming event or highlighting a campaign or program that's key to the organization's mission, the Nonprofit of the Month program helps with high profile advertising and awareness messages.

Nonprofit of the Month recipients receive the following:

  • Free advertising on the mall's digital message center (located at the main vehicular entrance to the mall of Green River Road). Recipients get two :08 messages with one recognizing them as Nonprofit of the Month and the other supporting an event or a mission for the organization.
  • Free social media posts on the Eastland Mall Social Media Network, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Free page on ShopEastlandMall.com
  • Free opportunity to host a tabling event in the mall on any Saturday in the month that they are recognized from noon to 4 p.m.
  • Free podcast episode on Eastland Mall's Short Cutts Podcast.

***The Eastland Mall Nonprofit of the Month program is open to all qualifying 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations.***

August Nonprofit of the Month

Wesselman Woods is the largest tract of virgin, old-growth forest within any city limits in the United States and provides environmental education and outdoor recreation experiences designed to awaken the senses and enrich the lives of area residents and visitors. Wesselman Woods is also home to the Nature Playscape, one of the largest in the country.

July Nonprofit of the Month

So much of the history of Evansville centers around the Evansville Museum. From the origin of the museum in 1906 through today, the Evansville Museum offers residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the world in art, history and science. Don't forget to check out their solar eclipse exhibit as we prepare for the total solar eclipse, April 8, 2024.

June Nonprofit of the Month

The Tri-State Food Bank distributes more than 9 million pounds of food each year to over 250 feeding programs in 33 counties. The mission of the Tr-State Food Bank is to improve the quality of life for our community's food insecure families and children by providing adequate food and nutrition through our network of local charities and organizations feeding the hungry.

May Nonprofit of the Month

Youth First exists to transform and strengthen the lives of young people and their families. We are the only organization that provides Masters level social workers in area schools and prevention programs for youth and families. On-site, free of charge behavioral health services and programs prevent substance abuse, improve family relationships and develop life skills.

April Nonprofit of the Month

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate, which simply means to be a friend to a child during a very difficult time in their life. CASA volunteers do everything in their power to ensure our little friend feels safe, loved, and supported.  CASA wants each child’s little hearts to be filled with hope and joy knowing that someone truly cares about them and their future.
