United Way of Southwestern Indiana

The United Way of Southwestern Indiana is Eastland Mall's Nonprofit of the Month for the month of December.  The United Way of Southwestern Indiana (UWSWI) exists to “unite resources to understand and address priority community issues.” This simple statement honors the agency’s 100-year-old identity as a “community chest” that raises and invests charitable dollars to support the upward mobility of local people —and reflects our growing role as a community catalyst for coordinated, data-informed actions to reduce poverty, increase racial equity, and build a collective trust.
