Introducing Evansville Civic Theatre

The Evansville Civic Theatre is Eastland Mall's Nonprofit of the Month for March 2026.  Evansville Civic Theatre was founded in 1925 and will be celebrating their Centennial Season with a Gala on Saturday, May 2nd at the Crescent Room.  Join them as they celebrate this momentous occasion to honor the past 100 years and the journey to come.

Evansville Civic Theatre seeks to enhance and enrich our community by cultivating an appreciation for the performing arts and providing an outlet for self-expression and education through high quality entertainment.

Their focus is to put on stage performances and community work shops.  They also have a  NextWave program that educates kids on the workings of a theatre and gives them a space to be creative and helps adults by giving them a creative space to learn and be themselves.

Evansville Civic Theatre representatives will be in the mall on Saturday, March 7th from noon to 4pm located just north of center court to provide information on auditions, casting, performances, workshops, volunteer opportunities and the upcoming Gala celebration.
